Take a private tour of the beautiful Marais du Vigueirat, a natural reserve inside the Conservatoire du Littoral. Afterward, visit the enchanting town of Arles, a town with roots reaching back to the Ligurians in 800 B.C.
The excitement starts as you meet your private guide at the harbor for a ride out to the Marais du Vigueirat inside the Conservatoire du Littoral. This special reserve is home to more than 2,000 animals and plants as well as bull and horse breeders.
Your experience will depend on the time of the year that you visit; if you are here during the summer (May to September) you will take a horse-drawn carriage ride along the paths of old fish farms overlooking the marsh with its many ducks, geese, heron, storks, flamingos, and other wildlife. While here, a wild boar or fox might greet you! Wintertime (October to April) will take you to the area's highlands where you will cross the grazing fields of the Camargue horses and bulls on the estate. Learn all about this hardy breed as well as special farming methods that span back for centuries and their importance for the Rhone delta today. From there you will head out to the heart of the old city of Arles for a walking tour of the city highlights. Stand at the ruins of the massive Roman amphitheater and see the Baths of Constantine. Other Romanesque architecture can be found here including the Church of St. Trophime and its cloister. In modern times this city is best known for its connection to Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh. Follow in the artist's footsteps and see how this area inspired many of his most famous paintings including Night Cafe and Starry Night Over the Rhone.

In that role, Mr. Miller was responsible for contributing to Abercrombie & Kent's international growth through the development and acquisition of tour products and travel experiences around the world with a specific focus on cruising and land based experiences. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean. While at Royal Caribbean, Mr. Bonner was responsible for forming Royal Celebrity Tours, Royal Caribbean's land-based tour operation in Alaska, which takes cruise passengers on multiple day tours through the interior of Alaska either before or after their cruises.
